Who Is Athos

Athos is a California based startup funded by Facebook VC & Social Capital CEO, Chamath Palihapitiya & Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob. Athos is the world’s first training system utilizing the science of Electromyography (EMG) to measure how hard & efficiently your muscles are working; and is used by consumers, Division 1/Pro athletes, and DoD soldiers to maximize training and performance potential while reducing the chances of musculoskeletal injury (MSI).

HOW IT WORKS

The Athos system uses a smart training undergarment with integrated EMG sensors that pick up muscle activity & display it in real-time via a mobile app that offers goal oriented training programs & that uses cutting-edge AI to provide personalized in the moment coaching & actionable training insights that help users to truly understand how their body is performing while preventing injuries.
